Uranus in Taurus *for you*

The last post was about Uranus in Taurus in general and what I feel it will look like for the world. This one will focus in on how Uranus' transit through Taurus is likely to affect you.

Note: You can read your Sun sign as well as your Rising (or if you don't know your Rising.. which, honestly, if you don't at this point, you better get on that because there's a whole world of astrology waiting for you!), but your Rising is likely to be much more accurate. Also take note that, since our Houses are often not spaced out evenly (and why it truly requires me personally looking at your chart to offer the best horoscope- check my Services page for Horoscope prices), the sign after your Rising sign may be more accurate. For example, if you are a late degree Aries Rising (say, 27 degree Aries), you should probably read Taurus Rising instead. This may even apply with middle degrees, especially at the beginning of the 7 year transit. So, say you're a middle degree Virgo Rising (ie 14 degree Virgo), you may want to read Libra Rising. Etc etc.

ARIES RISING:

In the next 7 years, you should experience some unexpected up's and down's with your financial situation and your material world. You may be rich one minute and broke the next. It's important for you to keep a "just in case" fund during this time, and when you do receive those unexpected windfalls, don't spend it all in one day, because there are sure to be plenty of random things that pop up to take your money when you least expect it. Your personal taste should become more eclectic during this time. The way you dress, your hair style, the way you decorate your home, etc will be more unique and surprising to others. You are embracing that personal individuality within your material world.

TAURUS RISING:

In the next 7 years, your life in general will be filled with many unexpected up's and down's. You may walk down many strange and unknown paths, and while oftentimes it will be stressful, it will also be exciting. Expect the unexpected because you never know what will happen. This phase could even change the course of your entire life. You are embracing individuality and unafraid to be you own strange, unique person during this time. People may not know how to place you; finding you kooky and unpredictable. You are the person that walks into a room and shakes things up. You bring excitement and a sense of the unknown wherever you go. Sometimes you may simply crave stability and predictability, but this phase of your life isn't for that!

GEMINI RISING:

In the next 7 years, many strange things will happen to you, but a lot of it will be "beneath the surface". Your intuition is heightened during this time, and you will often have flashes of psychic inspiration. Ideas will come to you without you understanding where they've come from, and you will suddenly know the answer to many of your deepest rooted issues. You may get the sense during this time that change is coming, sort of like an approaching train. You will have many strange dreams that drop clues about what your life is about to become, and since you are not there yet, there could be a lot of anxiety surrounding these dreams, thoughts, and experiences. It's true that change is coming, but the change you need to implement first and foremost (before you can bring it into your external world) is within yourself.

CANCER RISING:

In the next 7 years, your social life will experience many up's and down's. You will meet many different people and may fall in with a new and exciting crowd, perhaps people who live on the fringes of society and practice a rebellious lifestyle. In general, you will encounter groups of people that intrigue and excite you, but forming lasting and intimate friendships isn't necessarily on the agenda. You may embrace the potential for social change during this time as well. Activism and fighting for what you believe, while participating in groups that feel the same, fits well with this cycle. For the friendships and communities that you are already apart of, many unexpected things will happen and you won't necessarily be the most reliable friend. People may find you strange or disruptive. You may have periods of intense social activity, followed by periods of just as intense loneliness. This is sort of like a rebellious teenage phase for you, even if you are a full grown adult.

LEO RISING:

In the next 7 years, you will experience up's and down's within your career. You could take on a new and exciting career path, that isn't following societies guidelines. Being in a stifling and boring career doesn't suit you well right now, and in fact will be quite impossible as Uranus will undoubtedly shake things up for you whenever you try to go the stable and boring route. Some days/months, you will feel on the top of your game and unstoppable. But it's important not to get too cocky during these times, because the next month you may be thrown off your throne! Letting these up's and down's guide you to a career that is the best suited to your individual self, one that lets you be unique, is the way to benefit from this transit. Your public image will also be a bit unreliable. People may see you as an innovator one minute and an oddball the next. Learning not to give a damn what others think about you will be another theme of this transit. You may also encounter an authority figure/mentor during this time who is kind of kooky but very inspiring.

VIRGO RISING:

In the next 7 years, you should experience many strange adventures. Traveling will bring exciting and different experiences into your world, and you could take many unexpected trips. You may feel quite "wanderlust" during this time, not wanting to confine yourself to one place or one situation. You should also experience many up's and down's with your beliefs. This could be a period of enlightenment for you, but you will travel down quite a few different paths to get there. You will receive many shocks to your system regarding your higher thoughts, suddenly realizing that what you thought you knew, isn't actually true at all- or that the things you had dismissed are actually valid. If you're a student, this will be a very erratic time for you; you may even decide to change your major/topic of study every 6 months or so! You're soaking up a lot of knowledge and could learn a ton, but you won't be the most disciplined because you're likely to change your mind.

LIBRA RISING:

In the next 7 years, you should experience some profound transformations- but they will often come suddenly rather than gradually, and they may not always come at the best times. There is some discomfort that accompanies these transitions, and you may often feel overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of it. There is almost a sense of violent change and upheaval during this time. You must keep on your toes, ready to face whatever comes your way because it could often be shocking. There are two other, somewhat unrelated things you may experience during this time. 1) an erratic, possibly kinky sex life, and 2) sudden windfalls in your bank account that most likely come from an external source (another person), whether it's a romantic partner, a family member, or an investor. At the same time, you should watch out for these "joint financial ventures", as they can prove lucrative at one moment and bankrupt the next. Try to keep a "just in case" cushion.

SCORPIO RISING:

In the next 7 years, you will experience many up's and down's with your relationships. This can come in so many forms, but the overall theme of your relationships with others is to expect the unexpected and to learn to embrace change. If you're married, you may experience a divorce during this time. If you're single, you may suddenly decide to marry someone you've known for 2 weeks. If having an open relationship is something you've wanted in your life, this will be the time to do it. People will come and go, and there will be lots of excitement, but trying to hold on to things is not really possible during this time. This isn't to say that the whole 7 years will bring turmoil and no commitments, but there will definitely be lots of change. This also applies to the way you relate to people in general, including friendships and business relationships. You can really find some independence during this time, and discover what makes you a unique partner and person.

SAGITTARIUS RISING:

In the next 7 years, you may drastically shift your ideas about what you "do" in life. Having a reliable, steady job and routine isn't really in the cards for you right now, so it's best not to try to regularize such things. You may find yourself taking a series of odd jobs or freelance gigs, which may not always be your favorite thing, but you can actually learn a lot from these experiences and apply your personal blend of genius and creativity. Opportunities will come up suddenly, but they will just as suddenly go away, so take them when you get a chance. This transit, if navigated well, can really help you break out of the mundane routines and ruts you have created for yourself. You will be constantly forced to switch up your daily life, so trying to hang on to what is comfortable isn't really the solution, but rather to flow with these up's and down's and take these changes as opportunities to find new interests. One thing to look out for during this transit is your health; unexpected issues may pop up randomly, so make sure you're taking periodic check ups and staying fit and healthy.

CAPRICORN RISING:

In the next 7 years, you should experience plenty of up's and down's in your love life, as well as many other things. Romantic relationships for you won't be so reliable. You could fall out of love just as quickly as you fall in love, and the person you're loving can do the same. There are likely to be lots of interesting romantic encounters. At some periods, you're wanting to embrace your freaky side, yet at others you find yourself feeling cold and awkwardly detached from romantic, sexual feelings. This transit also applies to your creative world; what brings you joy, and your hobbies. You could find many new creative interests, but what you love isn't always so stable. You will go through many phases of loving different things, and it may be difficult for you to maintain a firm grasp on what brings you pleasure. Pleasure itself will be very up and down for you. Just as you are experiencing those random back and forth's with your romantic love feelings, so you will be having back and forth's with your happiness. Things will suddenly pop up to bring you joy, but then be nowhere to be found the next month. It could feel a bit like a happiness roller coaster.

AQUARIUS RISING:

In the next 7 years, your home and family life will experience many up's and down's. You may be uprooted more than a few times, forced to move somewhere at the drop of a dime. It's very important to be adaptable to these situations during this transit. Trying to build a home, at least a "typical" one, won't really go as planned and you will find yourself having to start from scratch. If you stay flexible, you will find ways to navigate these sudden changes, but if you resist, you are likely to experience more trouble in these areas. Regarding your family, there will be many changes there as well. One of your relatives could suddenly marry, bringing someone new into the family, and you will also probably see many unexpected births and possibly a few unexpected deaths. Your whole idea of the family structure may change, especially toward the end of this transit. All your family's eccentricities will come to the surface and perhaps impact your own life in strange, unexpected ways.

PISCES RISING:

In the next 7 years, there will be a lot of general change happening around you in your everyday life. Friends and acquaintances will come and go, having little effects upon your life and bringing new perspectives. Mentally, you will come up with plenty of ideas during this time, but won't necessarily be able to rely upon these ideas when you need them, as they will change with the wind. Communication will be erratic for you. One day, you will feel like chatting up a storm to everyone who crosses your path, and the next day will have you feeling totally anti-social. People may come to know you as an eccentric person during this transit. You will encounter many strange characters on a daily basis. You also may face unexpected situations with your siblings during this time. It will definitely be a transit of weirdness, inventions, and new things- but the changes that happens around you are likely to be minor rather than major (unlike some of the other signs' transits).
